These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Rio Grande Residency website at www.riogranderesidency.com and all services provided by Rio Grande Residency, including Rio Grande Residency (K.Pudur), Rio Grande Bungalow (Hawa Valley), and Rio Grande Apart Hotel (Alagar Kovil Road), Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. Booking Terms
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Rio Grande Residency.
- A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from our team via WhatsApp, email, or phone.
- Guests must provide accurate personal information at the time of booking, including full name, phone number, and valid ID proof.
- We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion without providing reasons.
- Room rates and availability are subject to change without prior notice until a confirmed booking is in place.
2. Check-in & Check-out Policy
- Check-in Time: 12:00 PM (Noon)
- Check-out Time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability, and may attract an additional charge.
- Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID) is mandatory for all guests at check-in.
- Guests are required to complete the hotel registration form at check-in as required by law.
- Unmarried couples are required to present valid ID proof. We comply with applicable local laws and regulations.
3. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests are responsible for the safety and care of all hotel property during their stay.
- Any damage to hotel property, fixtures, or furnishings caused by guests will be charged accordingly.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all air-conditioned rooms and public areas. Designated smoking areas are available.
- Pets are not permitted on the premises unless explicitly approved in writing by management.
- Noise levels must be kept considerate of other guests, particularly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Guests must not bring outside food or beverages into the hotel restaurant area.
- The hotel reserves the right to terminate a guest's stay without refund for violation of these terms or for behaviour that is disruptive, illegal, or offensive.
4. Banquet & Event Bookings
- All event bookings require a formal agreement signed by both parties prior to the event date.
- The client is responsible for the behaviour of all event attendees and any damage caused during the event.
- Decorations, entertainment, and external vendors must be pre-approved by hotel management.
- Catering and food services must be sourced exclusively from Rio Grande Residency's in-house kitchen unless special exceptions are granted in writing.
- Maximum capacity for the Banquet Hall is 500 persons. Exceeding this capacity is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
5. Payments
- Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.
- We accept cash, UPI, bank transfer, and other payment methods as communicated by our team.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Advance payment or deposit may be required to secure certain bookings, particularly for events and peak-season stays.
6. Liability Disclaimer
- Rio Grande Residency is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of guests on the premises.
- We recommend guests use the in-room safe for valuables. The hotel will not be liable for items not secured in this manner.
- The hotel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics) that prevent the fulfilment of bookings will not attract penalties from either party.

- All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the intellectual property of Rio Grande Residency and may not be reproduced without written permission.
- We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information on this website but do not guarantee it is error-free or current.

8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
